The Guru Makes Impossible Work Become Possible
There are many examples where you find a disciple who changed the course of history with his ability. Made the impossible into a possibility. The biggest example of this is the revered Hanuman Ji. Once someone asked Hanuman Ji, that when he was standing at the shore of the ocean, he was quiet and peaceful, and later he roared like a lion, again and again. Did you come to realize your power? Did you realize your inherent strength? Hanuman Ji replied. “No, at first I only knew that I came for the world. All I knew was that I was born for this world, so I was quiet. When I found I was born for the divine work of my lord and master Shri Ram, who had chosen me, then I understood if this work is my Master’s, then the strength will be of my Master’s too! Worry was relinquished. It did not take me long to realize that I have to become the medium. I just had to offer myself at the feet of my lord and master. I just have to be present in his service and that’s it! I just have to be his instrument and that is all I have to do. I was available for his services”.
Hanuman Ji whole life represents the strength and power of his master, Shri Ram. In the scriptures Ram Charit Manas, it is mentioned that when Hanuman Ji reached the court in Lanka, Ravan questioned Hanuman Ji, “With whose strength did you destroy my garden? O tell me jungle dweller, who is behind you?” Smiling, Hanuman Ji replied, “Oh Ravan, what sharp eyes you have. I appreciate your deep sight that you understand what I have done so far, and what I am going to do further. Behind all this, there is someone else’s strength and today I will reveal to you whose strength resides within me”. Hanuman Ji talks about the beginning of creation. How he introduces his master to Ravan, how he presents the ability of his master to Ravan, I don’t think other than Hanuman Ji in history there is any such example as Hanuman Ji exhorted.
Goswami Tulsidas wrote that Hanuman Ji said, “O Ravan! With whose strength illusion creates universes, with whose power Brahma (creation), Vishnu (operation), and Mahesh (destruction) created and managed this illusion. With whose strength Sheesh Nag (serpent) is holding this earth on its hood, with whose strength this universe is moving. With a little bit of His strength, you feel that you have won this entire universe. I am the messenger of that strongest and powerful lord Shri Ram. With whom all impossible work becomes possible.”
Today we have the strength and support of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. Today we have Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji’s tapasya (penance) helping us. His grace showers on us. Then why worry? Question yourself. In our life why so much dilemma? Maharaj Ji has said, “You need not worry because you are playing a game which you have already won. Then why are you trembling? Why are you negative? Why are you anxious? Why this commotion, helplessness, and despair?”
